Applications as per enclosed format are invited for the post of one Data Entry
Operator (DEO) of Khanakul-ll Block for data entry on various components of Cooked Mid
Day Meal Programme (CMDMP) across the Block level offices in terms of memo vide No.
303(2l)-ES(CMDMp)/ESTT-0s/20r-3Pr Dated 25.03.20t0 & Memo No. 428-5E(Estt)/4P-LlL0,
Dated 25.03.20L0 of School Education Department, Government of West Bengal which
communicated by the District Magistrate, Hooghly vide Memo No. 477(35)/MDM Dated
29.I2.20L4 (Application format will be available at Block and G.P. office).
Eligibility Criteria for the contractual Data Entry Operator and other conditions along
with procedure of application are as follows
1. Name of the Post : Data Entry Operator (DEO).
2. Employment Type : The engagement shall be purely temporary and on contractual
basis and may be terminated at the completion of the job at the end of the project
whichever is earlier or if the performance of the personnel is found to be not
satisfactory.
3. Qualification of the candidate : (a) Shall be a citizen of lndia as defined in part-ll of
the constitution of India (b) Shall have a Graduation degree in any branch from any
recognized University (c ) Shall have a Certificate in Computer Applicatioin from a
recognized or affiliated Institution.
4. Age : Not more that 40 years of age as on L't January,2OL5 (age relaxation-S years
for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 8 years for Physically Challenged candidates).
5. Consolidated Salary : Fixed consolidated professional fee of Rs. 11,,0001- per month.
6. Job Responsibilities : To assists in the implementation of various schemes for the
department and to perform other duties as may be assigned by the head of the
office.
7. Last Date of Submission of Application : Application should be submitted to this
office (BDO's Office, Khanakul-ll) in drop box by L3.02.2015 (excluding holidays).
B. Date of Examination / Interview : Dates will be informed to the eligible candidates.
9. Enclosures : Self attested copies of the testimonials in support of (a) Date of birth (b)
Educational Qualifications, (c) Certificate in Computer Application (d) Certificate of
SC/ST/OBC and Physcially Challenged (if applicable) (e) experience if any and (f) Two
copies of recent passport size phgotos duly signed across by the candidate and one of
which should be pasted on the application format and other enclosed.
10. One candidate should apply for the Post of only one Block/Municipality at a time.
11. Short Listing of candidates (if required) for Written/Practical examination and
Interview may be made on the basis of Educational Qualification and Certificate of
Computer Application and any other criteria as may be fixed by the Authority.
Selection will be made on the basis of Marks obtained in Written/ Practical
examination and interview.
