The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention
Center is located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd.,
Fort Lauderdale. From I-95 or the Florida
Turnpike exit I-595 East and follow I-595 to
exit US1 North, follow US1 North on to SE
17 Street (about 18 blocks), turn right on to
SE 17 Street and go east to Eisenhower Blvd.
(just before the Intracoastal Bridge), turn right
on to Eisenhower Blvd., pass through the
security check point and show your photo
ID, continue a very short distance to S.E. 20
Street and turn left into the Convention Center
Garage entrance. Take a parking ticket and go
up the ramp to the second level, turn left and
park as close as you can to the first or second
convention center skywalk. The parking fee
will be about $10 paid as you leave.
Two skywalks connect the garage with the
second level of the convention center. Either
one will take you to the center. (If parking is
full, go to a higher level of the garage and take
stairs or an elevator to the second level and
look for the skywalks.) Turn right after entering
the center and walk to the escalator (elevator
behind it) and take it to the third floor Floridian
Ballroom area. Registration will be located on
the third level — turn left after leaving
the escalator.
Conference Center Security
Because the event is located inside the Port
Everglades security zone, all attendees must
present an official photo ID (driver’s license,
for example).
Airline Service
The Fort Lauderdale Airport is a short $12 to
$15 taxi ride to either the Conference Center or
the Embassy Suites Hotel.
