PART-TIME EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Canadian Centre for Ethics & Corporate Policy (www.EthicsCentre.CA) seeks an experienced individual with experience in law, ethics or compliance, to serve as part-time Executive Director. Reporting to a volunteer Board of Directors, he or she will assume a leadership role in advancing the Centre’s mission, goals and membership. Duties include membership recruitment activities and general promotion of the organization, acting as host for events, regular and ongoing contact with members, speaking engagements and other communication on behalf of the Centre, as well as event planning and supervision of a part-time administrative assistant. The applicant should have an interest in business ethics and a desire to promote and further the organization's agenda. Flexible and ability to work independently, the successful applicant will be able to work well with volunteers and Board Members, and will have strong communication skills, both written and oral. Active use of social media in a business context, and high level computer knowledge and ability are assets. This is a twelve month contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and the needs of the Centre. The Executive Director is expected to work approximately 735 hours per annum spent as the needs of the organization require (15 hours per week on average). Compensation is comprised of a salary and incentive plan and is in the range of $40,000 $45,000.
