Welcomes Rick GallOur New D.O.N.
The mission of the Welsh Home is a
“legacy of the heart,” following the

of each person residing here.
As The Welsh Home Family starts
this New Year together, in closing I
will share with you a New Year’s

Bid farewell to the problems and
concerns of the past year and prepare
for a new beginning. May
misunderstanding and grudges be
forgiven and may
friendships old or
new be fostered.
Starting off a new year on the right

traditions, or interesting resolutions?

IN MEMORY OF OUR RESIDENTS...
Look for me in Rainbows
Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.
In the morning sunrise when all the world is new,
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.
In the evening sunset, when all the world is through,
Just look for me and love me, and I'll be close to you.
It won't be forever, the day will come and then
My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.
Time for us to part now, we won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.
Every waking moment, and all your whole life through
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Just wish me to be near you,
And I'll be there with you.
We would like to offer our deepest
condolences and prayer to the family
members of those who our Welsh Home
Care Team have had both the privilege and
honor in taking care of during their final stay
with us in DECEMBER. May good memories
offer you comfort always.

WELSH HOME WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR OF NURSING, RICK GALL..
Hello everyone, my name is Rick Gall and I am the new Director of
Nursing here at the Welsh Home. I would like to start by thanking
everyone for welcoming me with open arms and making the transition
into my new position easy and enjoyable. I have been a nurse for
many years and started my career at the Cleveland Clinic working on
a cardiac step down unit.
After years of working in the hospital I found my passion in long term
care. I worked my way up the management ladder first by being a
weekend supervisor then to an Assistant Director of Nursing and
finally to my ultimate goal of Director of Nursing. I am currently enrolled at Grand Canyon
University working toward my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. In my spare time I enjoy fishing,
woodworking, gardening and am a collector of
nutcrackers.
I look forward to being a part of this great team here at
the Welsh Home and having all of you as a part of my
family. If you should have any concerns or need anything,
please do not hesitate to come see me. I am here for
you.

SINCERE THANK YOU...
“Thanks a million to
all the residents and staff who made my retirement party a
wonderful surprise. I was so very touched by all the kind words.
I wanted to say “Wait, you must be talking about someone else!”
I never saw myself in the way they described.
the Mayor was a very
The presence of
special honor. She is a very special
person. The” Memories” book is awesome! It really touched my heart and the feeling is renewed
every time I read it. The gift of my dove necklace with diamond chips from the Department Heads
is so very meaningful to me. The dove represents the Holy Spirit to me and when I was very young
I felt the Holy Spirit guided me then and will again. And I love the music box that plays Danny
Boy. I shall always cherish the good
wishes of each resident. I didn’t
know they recognized my “clicking
shoes”. And the staff will forever
remain in my heart. And I will sing
their praises to everyone as the best,
most dedicated and extraordinary employees I have ever known.
And all the service providers who were present have been so special
to me.
I loved working with them. I could feel so much love and
good will in the Welsh Home that day and pray that it continues.
Thank you all again.
“May God hold you always in the palm of his hand.”
