Trimmings Workshop
The Town of James
Island will be hosting a
Public Workshop
sponsored by SCE&G on
Thursday, January 29,
2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the
Town Hall, 1238-B Camp
Road, James Island.
SCE&G will be pruning
trees in James Island this
spring as part of the
Company’s 5-year cycle
to maintain public safety
and electric system
reliability.
Representatives from the
SC Forestry Commission
and Lewis Tree Service
(the contractor) will be
present. Oversized maps
marking the streets
where trimming is
planned will also be
displayed. The public is
invited.
The James Island Public Service District’s offices will be closed and there will be no
garbage or trash collection on the following South Carolina State holidays in
2015. In accordance with our after-hours procedures, on these holidays, residents
who experience wastewater emergencies should call (843) 795-2345.
