SPEAKING AS THE COMMANDER
Our new road sign is complete and looks great, our nine (9) camera surveillance system and the heating
system on the roof has been installed; all are in good working condition. Special thanks to 1 st Vice Bob
Henninger for spearheading both projects. Thanks to all who worked with Bob and completed each
project: Steve Cotter, Mike Tuper, Gerald Donnelly, Brian Stone, Billy Stone, Brian Haggett & Gordie
McDonald.

Meritorious Service” for having conducted the MOST OUTSTANDING POST CHILDREN
& YOUTH PROGRAM as determined by the Department Children & Youth Committee
2013-2014. Great job!!!

According to an article in yesterday's Albany Times Union, Veterans can now change
their state driver's license, permit, or non-driver identification card to indicate their
status as a Veteran without paying additional fees. The Legislature approved the
designation this year. Veterans interested in applying for the designation can send proof
of an honorable discharge to the state Department of Motor Vehicles. Those who qualify
can have the word "Veteran" printed on the upper left-hand corner of their driver’s
license, permit, or non-driver ID. For more information about the military license
designation or for assistance applying visit: www.dmv.ny.gov/armed-forces.htm#vetstat
or contact Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara's office at
