Kabeldon pre-assembled dry cable termination, 145 kV
TD 145
Outdoor dry cable termination with
integrated screen separation. For
installations in which the termination
is to be used as a fixed connection
point and where very high continuous
creepage currents can occur.
Designed to meet the requirements of
internationally accepted standards.

1. Top bolt
Made from aluminium or tin-plated copper.
2. Conductor connection
Mechanical bolt connector is suitable for cables with
aluminium or copper conductor.
3. Top cover cap
Made from aluminium alloy. The round profile prevents
corona effect. The top cover protects the connection point
against air pollutants.
6. Cable clamp
Made from fiberglass reinforced polyester. The cable clamp
secures the cable in a fixed position.
7. Earth clamp
The earth clamp is made of nickel-plated brass. The earth
clamp has a rated cross section of 1050 mm².

Composite insulator according to IEC 61462
Dimensional and electric test according to IEC 60840 is performed on
each stress cone
Leakage test of top cover and top cap
Visual inspection is performed on all parts of the termination
Storage
When stored in original, unopened packaging at temperatures
in the range of -30°C to 30°C:
The pre-assembled termination has a shelf life of 5 years from
date of manufacture.
Tapes and grease have a shelf life of five years.
Metal hardwares have no shelf life limit.
