The chargingcoilandmagnetic rotor are mounted within the flywheel - sealed offfrom moistureand dirt. A diode rectifier, mounted insidethecontrol box, converts the charge for the battery from alternating current todirect current. Thechargingcircuit is ratedat 12 volts 1.5 amps. 4. WIRING ClRCUlT - Use a 12 volt battery minimum capacity of 18 a m p hrs. Connect ground strap from negative post of battery to a good clean ground surface on theengine. STARTINGMOTOR No maintenance is required other than keeping the outside of the motor clean, and insow- - tion for insecure molinting, loose and dirty nections.
