Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) was
established in 2001. Don Bosco provides high level of
teaching, research and extension activities in the field
of Computer science, Information science, Electronics
and communication, Electrical and Electronics,
Mechanical,

Management education. DBIT is located on a
sprawling 36 acres campus in the sylvan South West

About CSE Department
The Department of Computer Science and
Engineering at Don Bosco Institute of Technology
was established in the year 2001 with Bachelors
degree of an intake of 60 enhanced to 120 in the year
2009 and further enhanced to 180 in the year 2014.
The Department provides an outstanding state-of-theart research environment complemented by
experienced teaching staff with 3 Doctorates. The
Department also offers Masters Degree in Computer
Science and Engg. and Computer Networks
Engineering. The Computer Science & Engineering
Department is committed to continuously improve the
quality of education by enhancing the knowledge of
students and faculty.

delivering theoretical concepts and implementing
laboratory experiments to the faculty and students
of VTU M.Tech (CNE) in the subject of
Distributed
Computing
(14SCN22)
and
Distributed Computing Lab (14SCN26). The
workshop will be conducted in collaboration with

Distributed and Cloud Computing.
