Gaghan Mechanical Inc. (GMI) is a minority-owned Small
Business Administration certified prime general contractor
specializing in institutional and industrial projects with an
emphasis on mechanical installations.
Since 1996, GMI has provided superior general construction,
facilities management and HVAC service throughout the
Washington metropolitan area.
GMI is a customer driven organization with an outstanding
record of project completion ahead of schedule, on time and
under budget. Our focus is on Design Build Construction
which eliminates contract modifications for “unforeseen
conditions”.
GMI strives to provide unexpected value into every project to
ensure a positive customer experience. Our most important
project is our next project which only comes from customer
satisfaction on the last job.
GMI’s revenue in 2014 exceeded $20,000,000 with projects
ranging from a $2,500 credit card purchase to a $3,800,000
Boiler Decentralization Project with Fort Belvoir.
We presently have a bonding capacity of $30,000,000
aggregate and $12,000,000 single project.
Headquartered in Alexandria, VA, GMI provides construction
services to selected property managers, local and federal
government agencies, and hospitals.
GMI is a fourth generation contractor in the Washington
metropolitan area. The Gaghan’s great-grandfather was a
founding member of Plumbers Local No. 5.
Our company has agreements with Steamfitters Local 602, as
well as Plumbers Local No. 5, ensuring we have access to the
most highly skilled craftsmen in the area.
