EAST BRISBANE SPRINT MEET
You are cordially invited to attend the EAST BRISBANE SPRINT MEET This meet is sanctioned by Brisbane Swimming Association and Queensland Swimming and times swum will be recognised as official Qualifying Times for upcoming sprint and school meets. The details of the meet are as follows: DATE Saturday 17 January VENUE The Barry McCart Aquatic Centre Anglican Church Grammar School Oaklands Parade, East Brisbane (Entry through Gate 5) TIME Junior Competition Warm Up – 8:30am Competition – 9:30am Senior Competition Warm Up – 11.00am Competition - will not commence before 12.00 noon The Churchie Aquatic Centre has full warm up and swim down facilities. AGE Age as at 17 January 2015 ELIGILITY Entry open to any SQ registered competitive swimmer, who is a member of Clubs affiliated with Queensland Swimming. EVENTS As per the attached Programme of Events, All events are to be swum as timed finals. MEDALS Medals will be awarded for; • The fastest three place-getters in each age group 8 and under, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 and over events NOMINATION FEES $6.00 per event POOL ADMISSION Spectators: $3.00 Swimmers: Free Programmes: $3.00 Coaches: Free (A Club with more than 30 or more swimmers will receive 2 programmes) LATE ENTRIES The East Brisbane Swim Club reserves the right at the sole discretion of the Meet Director to accept entries on the day if there are lanes available in the existing heats. If the entry is approved, the late entry fee of $10 per event must be paid at least 1 hour prior to the commencement of the event. RULES This meet will be conducted under SQ/SAL Rules. The Club Race Secretaries or representatives will receive email confirmation for their entries by Wednesday 7 January 2015. Meet entry list, estimated time line and timekeeping roster will also be emailed ENTRIES TM Entries close: Monday 5 January 2015 Manual (Paper) Entries: Friday 2 January 2015 All entries must be submitted by the Club’s Race Secretary using Team Manager or Manual Entry Form.
