languages, diverse
expressions of belief,
customs, traditions, and
ethnicities we thank you!
We thank you for the many
church traditions which
have kept our communities
strong and active even in
places where they are a
minority. Teach us to
celebrate our different
identities and traditions,
so as to forge bonds of

STARS GALA AUCTION ‐ MIDDLE SCHOOL MENTOR GROUP
DONATIONS
It's been an annual tradition for the Middle School Mentor classes to
contribute items to the school auction. In past years, these
generous donations have resulted in fabulous auction items! To
continue with this tradition, our goal is 100% participation from
middle school families to fund this year's auction items.
This year we are planning two "experience‐themed" packages: A San
Juan Island Hop Family Getaway that will include stays on Orcas
and San Juan Islands complete with fun island activities and dining;
and a Whirlyball Party and dining experience for 20 people!
To help fund this year's Middle School Mentor donation to the Our
Moment In Time Gala Auction, a donation of $30 from each middle
school family is suggested. Please make your donation by Friday,
January 23 so we have time to put together these experience
packages in time for bidding at the auction on March 14.
Your donations can be made online via the school website
at eastsidecatholic.org/auction. Once you click on this link follow
these steps:
1. Click on the "Our Moment in Time" box in the top right
corner.
2. Click on the "Cash" button in the blue menu bar at the top
3. Follow the prompts from there. Note: it is the "cash donation
type" field where you will see the list of mentor groups.
Please select your specific mentor group.
If you have any questions about the Middle School Mentor Auction
Donation packages or about donating, please contact Cindy Huse.

THE SOUPER BOWL OF CARING: JANUARY 27 ‐ FEBRUARY 2

canned goods and raising hunger awareness the week before the
Super Bowl. Our food drive will take place Tuesday, January 27
through Monday, February 2. Canned food donations will be
accepted before school and each first period team will be
competing for some great prizes. As a middle school our goal is to
collect more than 1,000 cans of food which will be donated to
Northwest Harvest. Start setting aside canned goods now and be
ready to compete!
