The 2015 FAI F2 European Championships for
Control Line Model Aircraft (juniors and
seniors) will be organised by the Bulgarian
Aeromodelling Federation (BAF) from 22-29
August, in the town of Pazardzhik, Bulgaria.

Competition Rules
Classes : F2A, F2B, F2C and F2D
European Championships will be run according

- Anti-doping : As per rule B.3.7 of FAI
Sporting Code Section 4 Aeromodelling,
Volume ABR 2015 Edition, any
competitor who has to take any of the
substances on the WADA Prohibited List
for a medical condition must have a
Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE)
granted by the FAI.
Valid FAI sporting licenses will be mandatory
for each competitor, team manager, assistant
team manager and mechanics. Only licenses
which are registered on the FAI central
database are valid.
Official languages
The official languages - English and Bulgarian.
Visa requirements
Visitors from most countries do not require a
visa to enter Bulgaria. In case of doubt, please
enquire in your own country.

Transport: You can reach Paradzhik:
•by car (freeway from Sofia 110 km, Plovdiv 40 km , Russe 370 km );
• by train from Belgrade, Istanbul; Bucharest. Pazardzhik is on the railway from
Europe, via Sofia, to Istanbul.
• by air to Sofia International Airport, then by car to Pazardzhik.
Organized transportation from Sofia airport to Pazardzhik is possible.

Departure
The daily flying schedule will begin at 08.00 and will continue through the various
rounds till 20.00. The organiser reserves the right to change the daily schedule if
necessary.
National Teams may consist of:

Classifications and awards
There will be individual classifications for Seniors and for Juniors and one team classification.
Winners will be awarded with FAI medals and diplomas and Organisers’ prizes.

250 Euros for the team manager or the team manager assistant
280 Euros per adult competitor F2A, F2C, F2D

50% Discount for second class

Deadlines
1. Intent to enter team with number of competitors for each class (Preliminary Entry
Form): 28th February 2015
2. Official entry (Final Entry Form) including competitors’ names: 30th April 2015
3. Receipt of all entry fees: 30th April 2015
Entry fees submitted after 1st May +10 % penalty.
Any submitted after 15th June + 20 % penalty.
Entry fees will not be accepted on arrival.
Protest fees
All protests must be presented in writing to the Contest Director and must be
accompanied by the deposit of a fee. The amount of this fee shall be 35 Euros. The
deposit is returned only if the protest is upheld.
Model aircraft fuel
Fuel will be provided for the official flights in F2A and F2D classes.
Fuel and components including training fuel for F2A and F2D will be available upon
request; information and the Fuel Order Form will be delivered in Bulletin 2.
Practice sites
There are practise sites available on the competition site or within a 5 minute drive.
Lodging
Accommodation:
A - Two stars hotel in double room per person:
City center, shower, WC, breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Full board – 41 EUR
B - Two stars hotel in double room per person:
City center, shower, WC, fridge, breakfast, lunch, dinner, WiFi.
Full board – 48 EUR

C - Three stars hotel in double room per person:
City center, TV, shower, WC, fridge, breakfast, lunch, dinner, WiFi.
Full board – 55 EUR
D - Four stars hotel in double room per person:
City center, TV, shower, WC, fridge, breakfast, lunch, dinner, WiFi.
Full board – 65 EUR
Camping: 6 Euro person/day; +3 Euro tent/day, Caravan/Camper +5 Euro/day
A camping area with electricity, water, showers and toilet facilities is available on the
site.

There will be drinks, snacks and food available to purchase on the field all the days of
the Championships.

Insurance
The Organiser will provide third party insurance cover to all participants for accidents
involving injury to others or damage to property according to the host country’s
legislation. Participants should provide their own health insurance to cover accident
and illness.
