1. Invitation
The Croatian Aeronautical Federation and Aeroclub “Rudolf Fizir” would like to invite
current Junior and Senior F3K World Champions, and all official teams (3 pilot per junior and
senior team) of FAI member nations to participate on 2015 FAI World Championship for Hand
Launched Gliders. This invitation applies to teams team managers, helpers and supporters.
The 2015 FAI World Championship for Hand Launched Gliders is being organized
by Aeroclub “Rudolf Fizir” in association with Croatian Aeronautical Federation (CAF) and
it will be held from 19th to 26th of July 2015. Before World Championship 13th F3K Fizir cup
will be held on the same flying field on 17th and 18th of July 2015. Both contests will be held in
Aeroclub “Rudolf Fizir’s” flying field in Ludbreg, Croatia. Ludbreg is a small town situated near
Varaždin (25 kilometers) and 90 kilometers away from Zagreb, capital of Croatia, and Zagreb
international airport.

3. FAI Jury
FAI Jury will consist of Tomáš Bartovskỳ (CZE), Sydney Lenssen (GBR), Erik Dahl Christiensen (DEN). Reserve member will be Zoran Lulić (CRO).
4. Official language
Official language of the competition and documents will be English.
5. Competition rules
Latest FAI rules for F3K category will apply for the World Championship.
Each comeptitor must have a valid FAI Sporting Licence listed at FAI Licence Database.

7. Deadlines

8. Payment
All official entry fees must be paid by 1st of April 2015. All payments after official entry be penalized by 10% and all payments after late entry will be penalized by 20%.

9. Protest fee
All protest fees must be written and handed to Contest Director accompanied by 35 € protest
fee. Protest fee will be returned if protest is considered as valid.

10.2 Flying field facilities
On flying field during the competition there will be toilet, catering and tent facilities. All participants will be able to use Wi - Fi and 230 V electricity. There will be tents available (more about
tents in future bulletins).

11. Insurance
All competitor will be covered by a third party insurance according to FAI rules. Health insurance is provided for EU citizens under Social Health Care. Insurance is recommended for non
EU cituzens or anyone looking for private health care.
12. No fly zones
During the World Championship and pre - contest there won’t be any no fly zones or restricted
areas but pilots will be requested to pay additional caution when flying over spectator and catering area.
13. Awards
FAI diplomas and FAI medals will be awarded for first, second and third placed pilots (both
senior and junior). First, second and third team (both junior and senior teams including team
manager) will be awarded with FAI diplomas and FAI medals.
Following FAI trophies will be awarded to winners of each class:
Perpetual trophy - Senior individual (current holder Henrik Vogler - GER)
Perpetual trophy - Senior team (current holders Sweden)
Junior individual (current holder Jason Weber - RSA)
Junior team (current holders Germany)
14. Anti - doping
If any competitor has to take any of the substances listed on the WADA prohibited list as a
result of medical condition, then thy must have a Therapeutic Use Exemption from the FAI.
This documentation has to be available to Contest Director on a request. Rules about FAI anti
doping are available on this web page.

17. Accommodation
In Ludbreg You can find Hotel Amalia(***) and Hotel Crnković(**). Hotel Amalia includes 42
rooms and Hotel Crnković includes 11 rooms. Both hotels are situated in city center just 5 minutes away from flying Field. Directions from Hotel Amalia to flying field You can find on this

Price for 6 nights with breakfast, lunch and dinner is 250€ per person.
Camping is possible at camping site which will be located 5 minutes away from flying site and

18. Meals
If you choose camping all meals you order will be served at the flying site. If you choose
accommodation in one of the hotels, breakfast will be served in hotel and lunch and dinner
on flying site. During the competition hot and cold beverages will be available for purchase on
flying site.
