DONNA POWERLIFTING MEET The Rio Hondo Powerlifting team started off the year on a good note by having a good showing at the Donna Invitational meet on Saturday the 17th of January. The boys team brought home the second place trophy, while the girls team placed seventh respectively. Placing for the girls team: Tracy Escamilla 1st place 97lb, Rebekah Medeiros 5th place 123lb and Lisa Zuniga 5th place 220lb. Placing for the boys: Alan Alfaro 1st place 148lb, Heliseo Guerrero 2nd place 148lb, Julian Flores 3rd place 148lb, Daniel Flores 2nd place 181lb, Joey Guzman 5th place 181lb, Stephen Dorado 2nd place 198lb, Isaiah Heredia 3rd place 198lb and Mando Ruvio 3rd place SHW.
