Q1. The 20 kg homogeneous smooth sphere rests on two inclines as shown in Fig. 1. Determine
the contact forces at A and B.

Q2. Determine the tension T required to hold the rectangular solid in the position shown in Fig. 2.
The 125 kg rectangular solid is homogeneous. Friction at D is negligible
Q3. Determine the forces in members BE and CE of the loaded truss (using method of joints)

Q4. In Fig. 4, determine the forces in members DE and DL by the method of sections.
