Gansow is a division of the IPC Group.

up in 2005 following the merger of a number of
leading companies in the professional cleaning
sector, each specialising in a different market

Gansow, a division of IPC, is specialised in the
floor care sector, producing motorised sweepers
and scrubber driers for professional use. With
more than 30 years experience, it has conquered
the international market which today represents
80% of its total turnover.

efforts to improve its range, have led IPC
Gansow to develop two product ranges: one line
dedicated to the professional market and the
other, a premium line for a more specialised and
demanding market.

1. The vacuum motor is mounted in the
highest part of the machine.
A sensor shuts off the vacuum motor when
the dirty water tank is full.
2. When the dirty water tank is full, the
left LED comes on and the vacuum motor
shuts down. The right LED indicates when
the detergent solution has reached the
reserve and there is enough detergent left
for about two minutes.
Easy to rinse and clean thanks also to
smooth internal finishes.
Saves brush wear and protects delicate
surfaces. Brush rotation stops (3 sec delay)
and starts upon brush command.

1. Choice of battery: an important decision
The different constructive technologies available on a battery can vary in either positive or negative points:

2. Talking about cycles: be careful! Your talking about battery life time
A cycle is intended in a nearly total discharge of the battery plus its total re-charge once again. The declared cycles of a battery
equals the declaration of its life; for example 100 cycles corresponds to 100 discharges and relative recharges.
Unlike the “material handling” field, in which traction batteries are developed for an average use of at least 5 hours, the young
professional cleaning machine field has an average use of less than 2 hours.
The international norms in force make battery manufactures declare the number of cycles connected to a discharge in 5 hours.
The “Cleaning” machinery market cannot (if not for a limited number of larger machinery requirements) recognise such discharge
rate, as the machines are used on average for 2 hours.
At this point the cycles of a battery become much more important, as they are a lot less than what is declared, respecting the
international norms in force.

3. Also the way the battery is used has an important impact on its life scale
Obtaining the best out of a battery cycle means two things; discharge the battery nearly to its minimum, and then re-charge it
once again to its total initial charge. A disorderly discharge and charge can not only reduce consistently the life of the battery,
but also make the battery loose its total charge during the life time of the battery.

4. Battery charger: a crucial choice!

Scrubber-driers > Main accessories
Brushes
Pad’s
“Bassina” brush with ultra-soft
natural bristles, perfect for washing
and polishing delicate or treated
surfaces such as marble, granite or
porphyry.
Yellow disk: for daily maintenance of
linoleum, PVC, marble and delicate
surfaces.
Brush with nylon bristles, for
cleaning all surfaces. Excellent
resistance to wear and water. Ideal
for rubber studded or sculpted
floors.
Green disk: for regular (weekly)
cleaning with strongly alkaline
detergents. To use with caution on
linoleum floors.
Tynex brushes are used to clean
very dirty floors with grease, rubber
tyre marks, or solid residues from
industrial processes.
Black disk: for in-depth cleaning
and dewaxing of all floors except
marble. Before use, perform a
colour-fastness test on PVC,
linoleum or studded floors.
