We work where
EMS works.
An integrated regional network of emergency care, close to home.
When a serious trauma or other critical
situation occurs, getting to the nearest
qualified emergency team can make all the
difference. Each of our six hospitals provides
emergency medical services 24 hours a day,
seven days a week. In Duluth, Essentia HealthSt. Mary’s Medical Center’s Level II Trauma
Center serves as the region’s only:
• ACS-Verified Level II Pediatric
Trauma Center
Northern
Pines
Deer
River
Virginia
• Burn Access Center
• Certified Stroke Center
Outside Duluth—and connected via electronic
medical record—our emergency specialists and
physicians serve patients by forming a lifesaving team prepared for any situation, from
minor injuries or illnesses to life-threatening
conditions requiring immediate surgery. Some
hospitals are equipped with Tele-ED which
allows our emergency physicians to video
consult in real time with specialists in Duluth.
Thank you for being part of our
team and for entrusting us to
be part of yours.
