Sub: Tender for purchase of Rearing Articles/ Equipments – reg.
This office is intends to purchase rearing articles/equipments under XII Five Year Plan Adopted Seed
Rearers [List of articles & specification enclosed Annexure – 1] from reputed experienced suppliers. The
interested parties are requested to offer their lowest rate quotation to the undersigned in two separate
Envelops clearly superscribing as "TECHNICAL BID FOR SUPPLY OF REARING ARTICLES
/EQUIPMENTS" & "FINANCIAL BID FOR SUPPLY OF REARING ARTICLES/EQUIPMENTS"
and both these sealed envelops are to be put in a large envelop which should also be sealed and duly
superscribed on the envelop and following terms & conditions. All articles sample must be submitted to
this office separately along with Technical Bid to evaluate the quality of articles/ equipments. The interested
parties may also visit CSB website www.csb.gov.in for submission of their quotation.

Standard size ( Size and specification enclosed Annexure - 1.) All articles should be manufactured
well finished, good quality pasting and durable type.
All samples must be submitted to this office separately along with Technical Bid to evaluate the
quality of the articles/equipments.

EMD should be deposited @ 3% on the quoted total cost in favour of ZSSPO, CSB by Demand
Draft only any Bank & no interest will be paid on EMD amount.

Rate quotation without EMD by Demand Draft will be rejected.

1. Cost of articles/equipments including packing & forwarding suitable for transport and
transportation charges by Road by reputed Transport Company, taxes and other
charges if any should be mentioned separately. They should quote their CST Regn.
No./TAN/PAN No. of the Parties at the time of submission of Rate Quotation.

The interested party may offer their lowest rate addressed to the Scientist-D & I/C, Zonal Silkworm
Seed Organization, Central Silk Board, Maheshmati, Malda–732 101(WB) on or before
10.02.2015 (up to 2.00 PM) in sealed envelopes by Regd. Post/Speed Post/Courier Service/
Office Tender Box.
Non compliance of supply order within stipulated date i.e. 3- 4 week, the EMD amount will be
stand forfeited.

The Technical Bid will be opened on 10.02.2015 at 3.00 P.M.
The Financial Bid will be opened on 10.02.2015 at 4.00 P.M.
Rate quotation received after stipulated date and time shall be rejected.
All the rate quotations receipt within the scheduled date and time shall be opened on 10.02.2015 at
3.00 P.M. & 4.00 PM in which the party himself or his representative may participate.
7 Supply of articles/equipments must be as per approved sample. If the item is not found strictly in
conformity of the approved sample, the order will automatically stand cancelled with forfeiture of
EMD without assigning any reason, whatsoever may.
8 Supplier should be able to supply within 3 - 4 weeks on receipts of supply order.
9 Supply to be made to SSPCs, Dakshin Bhowbanipur, Raiganj, Berhampore & Kalitha and bill
may also be raised in the name of individual unit and payment should be made by the
concerned SSPCs.
10 Validity of rate should be at least for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of the quotation.
11 The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Quotation(s) without assigning
any reason whatsoever.
12 In case of dispute, if any, the decision of the Scientist-D shall be treated as final.
