temporary crisis. This ministry and assistance is funded through
the sale of donated items.
• Tuesdays – 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• Thursdays – 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
On Monday morning, it takes three people four hours to empty the
sheds of donations given over the weekend, which includes sorting
and bringing the merchandise into our building. It then takes four
people six hours to clean, repair, test, price and place that merchandise
on the shelves in an appealing and attractive manner for the sale on
Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. It takes six to eight people to sort,
price, iron and hang the clothing on the racks by size on the sale floor.
Clothes must have working zippers, all buttons in place, no stains,
rips or fading. All of this and more must happen every day to make
it possible to help the 615 families we helped this year. Stay tuned for
Tuesday!—Nancy McMillan
