ACADEMICS:
ITT Technical Institute will be holding an Open House this Saturday, January 24th from 10am to 1pm at their campus on
10999 Stahl Road in Newburgh. This is a great way for students to see first-hand what programs are offered and tour the
campus. Students are encouraged to bring family and friends. (Mrs. Derr 1/22 – 23)
ATHLETICS:
The boys swim team last night swam great prelims in their conference meet. We had several boys make it
to the finals on Saturday. Eli James is ranked first in the 200 IM and 500 Free going into Saturday. Cody
Elliot made it to finals in the 50 and 100 Free. Lathon Green made it in the 100 fly. Taylor Russell and
Zack Willem made it in the 100 Backstroke and Cody Ungetheim made it in the 100 Breast stroke. They are
back in action Saturday to finish off a great start to the Conference meet. Please wish them luck today in
the hallways, they are representing Boonville well. (Coach Snider 1/23)
Last night the varsity Lady Pioneers were victorious at home over the Heritage Hills Patriots in come from behind
fashion. Down 9 pts midway through the 4th quarter the Pioneers mounted their comeback with some full court
pressure “D” that led to some quick scores on “O”. Small and quick was the formula the team used to take the lead
and hold on. Sam McDowell stepped to the line with the game tied after being fouled shooting a 3 pt game winning
shot. Sam had ice water flowing through her veins and hit all three shots to seal the win. Kaitlynn Torres also
stepped up big last night scoring 11 of her 14 pts inside the arc and at the foul line. Great job last night ladies in
believing in each other and playing hard all the way to the end. (Coach G. Wilson 1/23)

Central! Be sure to stop by her classroom anytime to drop off the items, as we will accept them through the end of

After Prom Committee - Planning meeting scheduled for the 2015 After Prom, at Boonville Public Library Thursday 1/28
from 6-8pm, room B. All High School grade level parents invited to attend and assist with 2015 After Prom. (Mrs.

Boonville Archers and Parents: We shoot our State Qualifier this Saturday, 1/24/15. We will be shooting at Boonville
Middle School. Flight times are posted on the website: boonvillearchery.org Please check the website for your time.
There will be no other chance to qualify. You must shoot at the Qualifier to be eligible to be on the State Team if we
qualify for the State Tournament. Archers: No Boots are allowed at practice in the Stadium. The floor has recently been
refinished and we want to help keep it looking good. All Archers should wear tennis shoes to practice, no boots will be
allowed on the Stadium floor. (Coach Krantz 1/21 - 23)
