Playing at Quintero provides a totally pure golf experience on a challenging, championship golf courseThe Quintero experience offers strategic bunker placement, generous landing areas (for the straight hitters) and multi-level bentgrass greens often referred to as some of the truest in the area. NON-GOLFERS: Today is to be spent at your leisure to relax and make the most of the hotel facilities. 7,200 yards, Par 72 Friday 30 January 2015 GOLF: Troon North Golf Club - Pinnacle Course 7,070 yards, Par 72 Troon North Golf Club stands as a hallmark of the Scottsdale desert golf experience with the course stretching through the natural ravines and foothills in the shadows of Pinnacle Peak. Giant granite boulders lie strewn across the rugged landscape of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert, where Troon North Golf Club combines iconic golf with the visual sensation of desert landscape, providing a standard unmatched in the American Southwest. With immaculately groomed fairways and bentgrass greens Troon North consistently ranks at the top of every golfer’s North American must-play list. NON-GOLFERS: Today you will experience a Sonoran Desert Jeep / Hummer Off Road Adventure which was Voted "Top 100 Adventure Tours" in America by National Geographic in April 2000. This exciting off-road tour through Arizona's Sonoran Desert will create unforgettable experiences! Saturday 31 January 2015 Attend the Phoenix Open at the Stadium Course at TPC of Scottsdale – Greenskeeper Tickets with food and beverage included The Phoenix Open is the best attended event in golf; with the 4-day attendance of the tournament usually around 500,000. The most popular hole for spectators to watch is the 16th hole due to the "Amphitheatre" atmosphere of the hole, created by the stands erected every year for the tournament. The hole could be described as "one big party", with many students from the nearby Arizona State University in attendance. Poor shots at the 16th hole receive boos, because the hole is very easy by the PGA's standards. Good shots, however, are cheered for loudly. Famous moments at the 16th include Tiger Woods' hole-in-one in 1997, which caused the gallery to erupt, throwing cups and other objects in celebration, and Justin Leonard giving the finger to the gallery after a poor shot. In 2011 Australian golfer Jarrod Lyle aced the hole, causing the stands to erupt in excitement. Situated in the “heart” of the Phoenix Open, the main Greenskeeper Tent provides a relaxed atmosphere and an opportunity to share a few laughs as well as complimentary food and beverages. The additional “Greenskeeper II” tent located on the hill overlooking the 18th fairway is a great place to enjoy “The Greatest Show On Grass.” Sunday 1 February 2015 Attend Super Bowl XLIX at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale Arizona The Super Bowl is also among the most watched sporting events in the world, drawing an average audience of 111 million viewers! "Super Bowl Sunday" is now considered by some as a de facto American national holiday and is the second-largest day for U.S. food consumption, after Thanksgiving Day. The Super Bowl halftime show is the one of the most-anticipated and most-watched musical event of the year in the US. In 2013 Beyoncé join an esteemed list of recent halftime acts that includes Madonna, The Black Eyed Peas, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and U2. Today at Super Bowl Sunday you will be seated in upper level seating, while these seats will be a fair way from the action it will give you all the taste and action of the “Super Bowl”. If you are a serious NFL fan and want to be closer to the action upgrades are available. Super Bowl Ticket Upgrade Options Price US$2,700 Lower Level Sideline (104-106,111-112,126-127, 132-134) “Goal line to 20” US$1000 Lower Level Endzone (Sections 117-121, 139-143) Monday 2 February 2015 GOLF: We-Ko-Pa Golf Club - Cholla Course 7,225 Yards Par 72 Unlike other Arizona golf courses, there are no homes or condos lining these fairways. At We-Ko-Pa, the Sonoran Desert is your neighbor and the term “high-rise” is either used to describe the ancient saguaros in the foreground or the magnificent mountains in the distance. In fact, the views are so spectacular at We-Ko-Pa that the sound, strategic playing value of the holes could possibly get overlooked. The variety in the routing and pacing of holes will keep all levels of golfers entertained from opening tee shot to final tap-in. The course features an ideal blend of doglegs and straightaway holes, a mix of slender and ample fairways, a balance between benign and rugged green complexes. Yet without exception, the course offers a host of shot-making options and plenty of grassy bail-out areas when the occasional shot gets away. NON-GOLFERS: Today we suggest that you explore the beautiful city of Scottsdale at your leisure or just recover from the Super Bowl lying by the pool! Tuesday 3 February 2015 GOLF: TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course - Host of Phoenix Open 7,216 Yards Par 71 Today you have a once in a lifetime opportunity to play golf at TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course! The course will comprise the exact layout that the PGA Tour Pro’s would have tackled at the Phoenix Open on the weekend. This is a very unique experience, as all stadium grandstands will still be intact. This will give you an inside look at seeing a course through the eyes of a Tour Pro. A TPC Scottsdale forecaddie will also be provided to each group to assist with course knowledge, strategy, as well as help with spotting, and searching. NON-GOLFERS: Not to miss out, today whilst the golfers are playing you will witness the majesty and natural wonder of the Grand Canyon by Helicopter.
