SWM 301
Z-Wave® Water Meter Reader
SWM301 is a battery-powered wireless module for reporting water
meter reading in domestic dwellings. The meter readings are
transmitted over the wireless network to a controller or gateway. The
device is ideal for the retrofit of existing water metering installations as
well as for new builds. It provides a flexible and efficient way of
connecting the water meter to the smart home.
The module is combined with a residential water meter from Sensus
type ResidiaJet or ResidiaJet-C, which are both used for cold and hot
water metering. It is easily integrated (snapped on) to the water meter
and reads the number of revolutions via an inductive pulse pick-up.
The device can be configured to report water consumption based on
flow change and/or defined time interval. Additionally, the reporting of
actual meter reading, as well as meter serial number, can be achieved.
An integral lithium battery provides around 10 years battery life based
on a 24 hours data reporting interval. The device is fully Z-Wave
compatible and certified, and suitable to work with third party
controllers and gateways for wireless transfer of water flow data.
