The stud was founded in June 2006 and registered in February 2007, by Allan & Jenny Johnson, trading as Echo
Cottage Pty Ltd, by the purchase of 123 ewes from Buangor Park (Flock No. 3756 MG & JA Russell Pty Ltd) in lamb

to Ringmaster 35 and Rockbank Bruno.
Subsequently rams have been purchased from Leintwardine sired by Merryville Brilliant ram, Wurrook, Merryville
th
Brilliant Example 10 , and two Merryville Rams sired by Pemcaw the recent addition from Tara Park Ram.
An extensive A.I. program has been in place predominately using Merryville bloodlines.

The rams selected are: paddock reared, no supplementary feeding,
the average micron for the 2013 drop ram lambs when side sampled was 16.5 micron
The Johnson family feel that with the assistance of Denis Crawford, their sheep classer and on property
management of Charles Knowles, the selective breeding program adopted they have reached a point where their
sheep are very even and they offer these rams for public auction with confidence and invite you to feel free to

come and inspect the flock on the 6 February.
