OPEN DAY BRITISH PSYCHOANALYTIC ASSOCIATION Saturday 7th February 2015, 2PM – 4PM 37, MAPESBURY ROAD, LONDON NW2 4HJ Programme 2.00- 2.15 Registration, Refreshments and Informal Discussion During registration there will be an opportunity for visitors to meet and talk to BPA Members (Senior and Candidates) and have some light refreshment 2.15 – 2.30 How & why we are offering a Training Joscelyn Richards, Director of Training, will welcome guests formally, explain the afternoon programme and introduce Philip Roys, President, who will give a brief overview of the BPA 2.30 – 2.40 The Training Joscelyn Richards will describe the main features of the Training and answer questions to clarify general and factual points 2.40 – 2.50 A Clinical Example Jan Harvie-Clark, a Training Analyst and Supervisor will describe a clinical case from a psychoanalytic point of view 2.50 – 3.00 Journey in becoming a Psychoanalyst As an introduction into the Small Groups Joscelyn Richards will describe her journey in becoming a psychoanalyst 3.00 – 3.50 Small Groups Participants meet in small groups in Burnett Room, Library and Room 4 with BPA Members Candidates.
