NUGA bi-annual meeting Stockholm, 29 – 31 January 2015 Sponsorship Opportunities It is our pleasure to invite you to sponsor the 29th bi-annual meeting of the Nordic Urogynecology Association (Nordisk Urogynækologisk Arbejdsgruppe, NUGA). The meeting will be held in Stockholm, Sweden 29 - 31 January 2015. The previous NUGA annual meetings have attracted a variable number of participants: in Stockholm 2008 there were 170 participants, in 2009 in Reykjavik there were 115 participants, in 2010 in Copenhagen there were 321 participants (though this was a joint meeting of NUGA and DUGS), in Bergen in 2011 there were 135, and in Helsinki 2013 there were 170 participants. For the meeting in Stockholm 2015 we expect the meeting to attract approx. 250 participants. The meeting attendees will predominantly be gynaecologists and urogynecologists treating female patients with urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse on a daily basis, but we also expect a number of urologists, general practitioners, continence nurses, and other allied health workers from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Your company can capture immediate market exposure and long‐lasting recognition, and perhaps find future employees or collaborators, and at the same time support the goal of NUGA by becoming a sponsor and/or an exhibitor. Because the congress provides the opportunity to learn about the latest progress in the field of urogynecology it will attract key opinion leaders and researchers, hospital based doctors and specialists from the primary health care sector, decision makers and promising young scientists. Topics of this NUGA Meeting will include: diagnosis, conservative, pharmacological and surgical treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, as well as related aspects of pelvic floor function and dysfunction, e.g. pelvic floor ultrasound, anal incontinence etc. New original research will be presented including relevant dissertations and submitted abstracts.
