Who We Are:

The EPC (Previously known as the Emergency Planning College) is the UK’s leading organisation
for multi-agency major incident training, consultancy and exercising. Managed by Serco Ltd on
behalf of the Cabinet Office,we are a service with a mission; to ‘enhance UK resilience’.
We are actively seeking to deliver our training courses in a more flexible way by offering training and
delivery at a place of your choice. Not only will this enable us to be more responsive and reduce
your costs at a time when training budgets are tight. But by offering you a choice of how, when and
what training will take place, you are assured of a solution to match your needs whilst we maintain
the high quality of content and delivery for which we are renowned.
Our highly experienced, industry leading experts provide a wide range of dynamic and diverse
services including advice, audit, training, exercising, seminars, webinars, and workshops for
public and private sector clients across the UK and overseas.
Each year 7,000 people trust us to prepare and support them as they plan for, respond to and

Training:
We seek to provide those who are new to the industry with a solid grounding as we develop
their knowledge through a range of foundation level courses. We build on this knowledge by

Regional Courses:
We understand the resilience community is wide ranging, covering many disparate agencies spread
through the whole of the UK. Therefore we are now reaching out to practitioners in different regions
to deliver our courses in a number of locations throughout the UK. This is why we have decided to
run a number of our popular courses in your local area.
2014 saw the first successful delivery of courses in Northern Ireland, Cardiff, Horsham and London.
