Turntable ladders

The Gimaex turntable ladder trucks are very
agile and convinces by fast set-up times. The
specially developed, patented level adjustment
is realised in the ladder set and not in the turret
as at other manufacturers. The turret‘s overlap
(negative overhang) does practically not exist.

ladder and vice versa will be the result.
Solely high-quality steel profiles that will be
welded together buckling-resistant keep the
standing cage grounded.

Stabilisation system
We reach an ideal stability due to a novel
connecting system of the main frame with the
chassis frame.
All outriggers are provided with
swivelling, self-adjusting base plates
and can be extracted individually or
simultaneously. Computers monitor
the ground pressure and ascertain the
respective overhangs depending on the
stabilisation widths.
Platform
The main arm can be turned for 360° without
stop by use above floor level. The structure is
made of a special aluminium construction with
the possibility to adapt it to other chassises. The
coverings and the separation walls are completely made of GRP or aluminium profiles.
Boom
The boom consists of a telescopic arm (3 parts)
and a two-part telescopic jib (cage arm).
The speciality: Due to the jib that can be
extended to a total length of 8 m and tilted up to
180° you have all-time possibilities. You extend
your working range enormous.
Level adjustment
Due to the automatic level adjustment in the
turntable it is possible to use the truck also at an
inclination of 14° (approx. 25% incline). The truck
can keep ground contact with the tires at an
inclination of 7°.
Computer-controlled, hydraulical stabilisation.
Rescue cage
The rescue cage consists of stainless
steel and is mounted fix and safe at the
telescopic arm. You can turn the cage
horizontally in a range of +/- 45°. The
cage will automatically be adjusted and
has a contact-free proximity switch as
crash safety.
Automatic terrain regulation.
Main control panel
The main control panel is designed
ergonomical, clear and functional. The
operator seat that can be equipped
with a weather protection roof if wished
offers free sight to the top. The selfexplanatory display advances the
fast availability.
