Department Issue Centennial Pistol #001
The Department of Indiana is conducting a raffle for two Centennial Celebration pistols. Each
pistol is a one of a kind, limited edition (one of 100) serial numbered item. These pistols were
commissioned and produced in recognition of The American Legion’s 100 years of service to
veterans, military personnel, families and communities. These fully operational pistols can be
kept as keepsakes, raffled to support centennial celebration efforts or used to support other
Department, District or Post fundraising projects. Both pistols are handsomely engraved and
finished with 24kt gold, antique gold, high polished nickel and black chrome. Each pistol is
currently valued at nearly $3,000.00!
The Department issue, serial number 001 pistol is shown above. Only 500 raffle tickets will be
offered for this pistol. The cost of each ticket is $100.00. This is YOUR opportunity to own a
true piece of Legion history and memorabilia that is sure to be the envy of your family and
friends … and fellow Legionnaires. The raffle winner will be drawn on Saturday, July 11, 2015,
during the 2015 Department Convention.
