Dubai International (DXB) Dubai International ended 2014 as the world’s busiest airport for international passengers. This achievement has been made more remarkable given the short time taken to attain this milestone. Dubai International has surged from being the 30th busiest airport 15 years ago, increasing from just 12.3 million passengers in 2000 to more than 70.4 million in 2014.
