Grassroots Coaches Course Wulguru United FC will be running a Grassroots coaches course at Wulguru Park on Saturday 14th February 2015 (9am-12noon) The 3 hour course is fully practical and encourages the coach to develop practices that are based on FUN. The emphasis is on natural development i.e. learning by PLAYING football. No coaching but organising FUN football exercises is the key to helping players build a love for the game. Another highlight of the course is that the coaches are exposed to basic rules of the game as well as tips and ints on building a football culture in a completely practical setting. Wulguru United FC strongly encourages (subject to availability) all our coaches (5-9 years age group) intending to return to the club in 2015 to attend the course irrespective of any previous qualifications. It is a requirement of Football Queensland that the club proactively seeks to qualify as many club coaches as possible to maintain our National Club Accreditation. The course is open also to parents and others that maybe interested in attending the course to learn more about our game but may not be able to commit to coaching this coming season. To register for the course click on the button below or contact our MiniRoos Coordinator Daniel Ellis on 0419 476 511 or email [email protected] for more details.
