EXEMPTION OF SCHOOL FEES: Only parents who qualify MUST PLEASE note that school fees exemption application forms must be
handed in before 27 February 2015. NO late applications will be processed. Parents who had exemption previous years, do not
necessarily qualify for exemption this year, you must re-apply for exemption. Only fully completed forms with bank statements, payslips
and appropriate documentation, will be handled. Application forms are available from our office.
SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY ELECTION: Nominations are open for possible candidates. Nomination forms are available from the office.
Nominations close on 2 March 2015 at 14:00. The election will take place on 3 March from 06:45 – 18:00.
FINANCIAL OFFICE: Take note that the financial office will be closed on Friday 6 February 2015. Only urgent payments will be processed.

RUGBY: We have a rugby match against Laerskool Louis Leipoldt on the 20th February at 13:00. The first team and U/11 team will play on
the A-field and the U/9 and U/10 on the B-field. There is a rugby clinic on Saturday 21 February at R50 per player. Contact mr. Flip Botha
for more information. There is a rugby meeting tonight, 5 February at 17:00 at the A-field pavilion. Hope to see you all there! Boksmart
will take place on 11 February at Hoërskool Nylstroom from 17:00 to 20:00. 6 March is a coaches exam, all coaches have to write this exam.
AREA ATHLETICS: Friday is a normal schoolday for all learners. Only athletes who went through to the area athletics, will take part.

Mommy makes learning fun workshop
Most parents struggle to help their Gr. R – Gr. 3 learners
with homework, simply because things have changed so
much since they were at school. This workshop will
empower parents to assist with homework. Things that
are covered include time management, coping with
stress, spelling, reading and mathematics.
Study Methods
Many Gr. 4 – Gr. 6 learners struggle with homework,
simply because they do not know how to study. This
course will help learners to develop a unique study
method.
Both these courses were compiled by a team consisting of
an educational psychologist, teachers and a remedial
specialist.
