• Help Wanted: Hope Church is looking for a Nursery Coordinator. This will be a paid position, approximately
3 hours per week. Application deadline is February 15. Please contact Kim Smith for more information.
• The Journey 50 & Beyond is on Wednesday, February 11 at 11:30 a.m. Everyone (couples, single
men and women) ages 50 and older is invited to come and enjoy fellowship, food and fun. The potluck
dinner will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the meeting will follow with Scott Finnern, director of ATLAS, and
Tiffany Bozarth, Staff Mentor, explaining more about what is happening at ATLAS. We are looking
forward to seeing you there!
• Divorce Care and Divorce Care for Kids (for children ages 5 – 12) begins tonight from 6:00–8:00 p.m. This
13-week series and small group discussion addresses many of the phases of working through a divorce.
Nursery is provided for children ages 5 and under. There is no charge to attend; however, registration is
needed. Please contact Joyce Heiller at 262-3391 to register, or if you have any questions. Please see the
lobby bulletin board for more detailed information.
• Adult nursery volunteers are needed for the Divorce Care nursery on Sunday evenings, February 8 –
May 3 from 5:45 – 8:00 p.m., and a flexible schedule will be possible with enough volunteers. The
nursery will be available for children ages 5 and under whose parents are attending Divorce Care. If
you are willing to serve as a nursery volunteer in this capacity please contact the church office at
[email protected] or 262-3016.
• Everyone is invited to be a prayer warrior for the Haiti Team traveling February 4 – 13. Those traveling
include Sharon Berkenpas, Karmen Brown, Calista Boeve, Scott & Marcy Breidinger, Jerry Clausen, Shelly
Helmink, Allie Helmink, Kady Groen, Kent Means, Mike & Gloria Schmillen, and Emily Weeks.
• The next baptism celebration will be on Sunday, February 22. If you would like baptism administered
to yourself or to a child, please contact Pastor Russell at 262-3016 or 346-8480 so arrangements can
be made.
• Hope Church is hosting a Marriage Retreat March 13 & 14 at Kings Pointe Resort in Storm Lake. Cost is
$125 per couple (includes lodging, meals & materials). Sign up at the Information Desk in the front lobby.

grandmother, Katherine Muilenburg of Hospers, from time to eternity on Saturday, January 31.

LeRoy Welle, from time to eternity on Tuesday, February 3.
