NTSC/D2 PROM-Slide®
2602ES
• Four-field storage
• Ideal for Station Logo
• Independent phasing
The Leitch 2602ES PROM-Slide is a compact, low cost, high quality,
module for displaying a permanently stored full color frame (4-fields)
NTSC still. It is ideally suited for applications where stills such as logos,
standby messages, or complex test signals are required on a regular
basis.
The 2602ES-S PROM-Slide is ideal for displaying a full color frame serial
digital composite still.
SPECIFICATIONS
The module is programmed to output a still taken from video tape,
graphics file, or a Leitch STILL FILE removable cartridge. The
PROM-Slide can be reprogrammed as requirements change.

1302SI-BM1
The versatile 1302SI Source Ident module adds new features to the
LEITCH 1302 and 2602 Series units. This module allows
pre-programming of custom messages into program video as well as the
display of time and date from SMPTE/EBU Time Code.
Pre-programmed IDs
Up to eight IDs, each with up to 10 lines of 24 characters, can be
pre-programmed in a single 1302SI module.The character set includes
128 different alpha-numeric and symbolic characters. IDs are selected by
a rotary switch. A second rotary switch can be used to set an extra

alpha-numeric identifier within an ID (eg. Camera A, Remote 2). Each
programmed ID can also be remotely selected using contact closures
on the 25-way D connector.
Count-Down Timer
The 1302SI provides a count-down timer with PIP tones (440 Hz), and
up to two additional pre-programmed IDs with the count-down timer.
The count start/stop is easily programmable and alternate tone
frequencies are also available. The count-down IDs appear only for
the duration of the actual count-down.

Display of Data
Data is displayed as white characters with a black cutout on program
background or on a black matte. Characters can be expanded up to
4 times vertically and/or horizontally. Half-height characters are used
for vertical interval insert.
Clock System Driver and the UDT-5700 Series of Up/Down Timers for
on-screen date, time or count down/count up.
Interfaces
The 1302SI provides an RS-232/ RS-485 interface for on-screen text
programming.Custom IDs or messages are programmed with the
built-in message editor via the RS-232/RS-485 port. To simplify
programming IDs, a PC editor interface program is included.
Up to 4 modules can be housed in the FR-1302 1RU Mounting Frame,
while 9 modules can be housed in the FR-2602 2RU Mounting Frame.
External key disable and countdown start triggers are provided for remote
control.
Time Code
For time code reading applications, the 1302SI includes a play
speed time code reader with one ID. The programmed ID remains
displayed only when valid time code is received. This time code
reading mode provides a simple interface to the CSD-5300 Master
