Capitol District
Etherton, Patricia: I'd appreciate your vote to represent you at Representative and Delegate Assemblies. My
experiences as current Capitol District Director on our NSEA-Retired Board and previous six years on the Board, 38
years teaching elementary and secondary students and Association leadership have prepared me to continue
working toward making Nebraska "retiree-friendly."
Hayes, Bill: Taught history and social studies in Nebraska City and Westside. Did extensive subbing in Lincoln
Northeast, East and Westside. Served on NSEA Board, President of WEA and Met Council. Currently on DoaneLincoln Adjunct Faculty and Treasurer of the NSCSS. Will work to promote the interests of teachers and students.
Elkhorn District
Black, Tom: My years of representing you on local, state, and national levels are always to serve you. You are so
important to us. As your former President, I initiated Retirement Seminars, Intergenerational Mentoring, and the
conferences. I am honored to continue to serve you and to earn your vote. Thank you.
Schiefelbein, Dan: NSEA member for over 30 years and served as a District President and on the NSEA Board. I

Dodd, Walta Sue: I am a member of NSEA-Retired Board, OEA-Retired Board (Vice President), NSEA Metro District
Board (NSEA-Retired (Liaison), and the OEA Foundation Board (Vice President). As an active member, I was a
member of the OEA, NSEA, and the NEA and served on numerous committees an all three levels.
Jensen, John: NEA-Retired Vice President; NSEA-Retired Board; Alliance for Retired Americans Executive Board;
NEA-Director (1988-1996); Past president of the National Council on Teacher Retirement; Retirement trustee for 24
years; Speaker for the NEA on protecting our retirement security over 40 times at 31 national conferences. I’m
committed to NSEA-Retired and NEA-Retired members.
Kelly, Renae: Please vote for me to represent NSEA-Retired at the Representative Assembly and also Delegate
Assembly. Active member for 33 years and attended RA three times. I have been editor of the “Retired Corner” in the
VOICE since retiring in 2012. Currently I am also the editor of the ADVOCATE.
Krejci, Carol: NSEA and NSEA-Retired have been very good to me, allowing me to develop leadership and political
skills as well as make many friends and given me numerous opportunities to travel. This position will give me the
opportunity to “give back” some of what the Association has given to me.
Panhandle District
McDermott, James: Vote for experience and excellent leadership. Past President Alliance EA; Past Panhandle
President; Board of Directors-13 years; Active NSEA/NEA member-36 years; Served on Alliance City Council 5 years

Roggenkamp, Guy: President of PVREA four years, past President of GIEA, Tri-Valley President twice, served 13
years on the NSEA Board of Directors, represented members at numerous Representative and Delegate Assemblies,
