WHITELEAF BOWMEN INVITATION SHOOT 10th May 2015 Changes 1) In addition to the Hereford Round outlined below, we have decided to run a couple of targets at Bristol III, which is 6 doz at 50yds; 4 doz at 40yds and 2 doz at 30yds. This is to give beginners and Juniors a chance to shoot. 2) The closing date for entries is 17th April 2015. Original Email We are holding our annual Invitation Shoot on our field at Lacey Green on Sunday 10 th May 2015. The shoot will consist of a Hereford Round and entries will be accepted from individuals shooting; Recurve, Bare bows including Horse bows and American flat bows. Clubs may form teams from their 3 best members score. If there are sufficient entries medals may be awarded to bare bow competitors as a separate competition. Compounds will form a separate competition, although may shoot on the same boss as recurve archers. Compound bows will not be included within the recurve team’s score, but if there are sufficient may form compound teams. Assembly will be at 9.45 am with sighters at 10 am. There is an entry fee of £6-00 each and the cheques should be made payable to Whiteleaf Bowman and sent to Alun Pugh 3 Ford’s Close, Bledlow Ridge, High Wycombe, Bucks HP14 4AP. Please complete the entry form below and return it to me no later than 17 th April 2015.The fee as always will include a tea after the shoot. Medals will be awarded to the leading man, woman and Junior; there will also be a men’s, women’s and junior club trophy, which they will hold for a year, each member of the three winning teams will also get medals There will also be awards for ‘Best gold’ & ‘worst white’. There will be a BBQ at the beginning of the day but please make your own arrangements for lunch. Also if you hold a trophy from last year please return it. We also hope to use the car park (across the road from the field) at RAF Air Command again this year.
