MISS OLP Dance Agreement

1. Miss OLP Ball: a semi-formal event; OLP students are required to wear a tasteful, elegant dress that
conforms to the OLP dress guidelines listed below. All garments worn to the dance must meet the
following OLP dress guidelines: - Must be at least finger-tip length or

• Any student who is not dressed according to the guidelines listed above (determined at the
discretion of the administration present at the dance) will not be admitted to the dance. •
If an OLP student chooses to bring an escort to the dance:
a. he must be no older than 20 years
b. he is required to wear a suit, sport coat, or sweater with a dress shirt and tie. No tennis shoes are
permitted.
The student and her escort must enter and leave the dance together, and there is no re-entry into the
dance once the student and her escort leave.
Important Info: Doors open: 7:30 pm. Doors close: 8:30 pm. Students and escorts may leave no
earlier than 10:30 pm.
Both the student and her escort must show a CURRENT photo ID (high school ID, driver’s license) to be
admitted to the dance. In the event of any forged information or signature on the Dance Agreement,
attendance at the dance by the student and her escort will be forfeited and disciplinary action will be
taken.
The style of dancing at the dance must reflect proper behavior between students. Any kind of dancing
that is sexually provocative is inappropriate and unacceptable. Please remember to leave room for the
Holy Spirit.
The Academy reserves the right to search any student and/or escort before or during the dance.
All school rules apply at the dance for the student and/or her escort, no matter what their age.
Students and/or escorts who do not comply with any of the guidelines listed above will be removed from
the dance, released to their parent/guardian and/or receive disciplinary consequences. No refund will be
given if removed from the dance.
10. Student and/or their escort under the influence of alcohol or any other controlled substance will be
denied entrance, removed from the dance, and released to their parent/guardian. If the parent/
guardian is unable or unwilling to escort their student and/or escort from the dance, the student
and/or escort will be remanded to the custody of the San Diego Police Department.
