Invitation
Dear Newfoundland Friends,
it is a pleasure for us to invite you to the 33th International Meeting of Newfoundland Friends. As
in 2011 our meeting this year will be held in Welzheim. The town of Welzheim is providing the
following places for us: for the “Bodenarbeit”, the sports field near the “Justinus-Kerner-Halle
and for the “Wasserarbeit” the “Aichstruter” Stausee nearby. These are the same locations as
during the last meeting. They offer lots of space for our meetings, and they are wonderful locations. We would be very happy if many friends from Europe and the USA are able to take part in
this meeting.
In order to prepare for this meeting, I would like to draw your attention to the following points :
Your Newfoundland has to be vaccinated at least four weeks in advance before our meeting.
The vaccination mustn't be older than eleven months and has to be documented by an international certificate of vaccination for pets.
Part-taking dog owners are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or by their animal. Your dog has to be insured against third-party risk.
The host of this meeting is not liable to any recourse.

Expenses
The registration cost is 35 €. The memory “present” is given on Sunday after the dinner. The
registration cost includes one present and one certificate per participant.
The dinner on Sunday will be in the “Justinus-Kerner-Halle. It will cost 35 € including water and
one drink. Children under 12 pay 15 €. Vegetarian meals are available on advanced booking.
• Payments
The registration cost, and the costs for the ordered meals have to be paid in cash on check-in.
Due to costs we cannot accept cheques or payment by credit card. Non-cash payments for the
registration and ordered meals can be put into the following account by 30th of April 2015:

• Accommodation
There are several inns, hotels and holiday flats in Welzheim and nearby. Enclosed you can find
a list of the accomodations. Please book the rooms directly at the hotels as soon as possible.

There is a small camping site at the Aichstruter Stausee, without water and electricity. The cars
must be left outside the camping site. Mobile homes and campers can also be parked on the
parking lot outside. There is a connection for tap water and waste water for mobile homes and
campers.
There is another camping site in Murrhardt.

From 11 a.m. is the arrival of the participants, registration and check-up of the dogs.
1.30 /2 p.m. Meeting-Opening , afterwards Bodenarbeit of the participating teams.
Sunday, 24th May 2015, Location : Aichstruter Stausee
9 a.m. Water Work of the participating teams
12.30 a.m. To 1.30 p.m. Lunch break, (there is the possibility to buy lunch at the lake.)
1.30 p.m. continuation of the water work
7.30 p.m. official evening Dinner together in the “Justinus-Kerner-Halle (Helmut-Glock-Straße/
Lindenstraße, see enclosed map)
Monday, 25th May 2015, Location: Welzheim Sports Field
10.15 a.m. Bodenarbeit together with all participants
11 a.m. Final Celebration Handing over of the cup to the next organizing team.
