Congratulations to our Jr. High WE THE PEOPLE Team who
participated in the Jr. High Showcase and State High School
Competition at Grand Canyon University on January 17 th. It was a
fabulous experience for our students and gave them first- hand
experience in the highest level of competition in the state.
Students studied and have been preparing for the event since the
beginning of the school year. Thank you Mrs. Higgins, for
preparing them so well and providing the encouragement and
guidance needed to succeed. The EDUPRIZE Team members are
Hayley W., Seth R., Neriah M., Marie G., Jayme M., Jayden O.,
Conner R., Christian G., Samantha M., Carlos S., Karson M.,
Emily K. Madison S., Megan C., Christian C., Brian P. Marissa
M., Diego N., and Zachary C.
Congratulations also goes out to our Science Olympiad Team for
placing 6th out of 15 teams at the Paragon Invitational on January
31st. Emma S. and Koston H. brought in a first place ribbon for
the Team. Other top ten finishers included: Carlos L., Carlos S.,
Haley H., Emma M., Steven N., Liz C., Kate W., Rex D., Mireya
B., Maraya C., Genevieve M., Erabella P., Koston H., Gabrielle
R., Kaya G., and Stephanie M.

Don’t forget that there will be EARLY RELEASE on
Thursday, February 12th for REGULAR DAY students.

It is filled with exciting exercises and activities that you can do
with your family and friends.
It will get you up and moving in a fun way.
Student Council will be selling V-Cards for $0.50 each. Each
card can be personalized by a brief message and each card will
have either a Hershey Kiss or a sucker attached. V-Cards may
be purchased in the mornings before school. V-Cards will be
delivered on Friday, February 13th to the student's classroom.
