They had been imported from South Africa in the 1950's and then used during the British Occupation by the Special Mobile Force. Last used during the riots in Mauritius in 1969 and 1971 after Independence. They were then used as monuments outside the SMF base untill late 90's when finally ended up outside the Police Museum. When this closed, they then disappeared and were vandalised before being scrapped (info. from the owner) "colinpark_photo" - http://s690.photobucket.com/albums/vv262/colinpark_photo/Malaysian%20Armour/ First Daimler Dingo – Malaysian Army Museum, Port Dickson (Malaysia) "colinpark_photo" - http://s690.photobucket.com/albums/vv262/colinpark_photo/Malaysian%20Armour/ Second Daimler Dingo – Malaysian Army Museum, Port Dickson (Malaysia) "colinpark_photo" - http://s690.photobucket.com/albums/vv262/colinpark_photo/Malaysian%20Armour/?start=20 Third Daimler Dingo – Malaysian Army Museum, Port Dickson (Malaysia) http://www.lancers.org.au/site/Museum_Report_Jan_2000.asp Daimler Dingo – Philip Hasting Collection (Australia) It was previously given as a depot to the Royal New South Wales Lancers Barracks and Museum, Parramatta (Australia) http://s20.photobucket.com/albums/b241/fredfred377/Aircraft%20Tanks/?action=view¤t=DSC03879LRES.jpg&newest=1 Daimler Dingo – Auckland Museum of Transport and Technology Auckland (New Zealand) – running condition John Rietveld Daimler Dingo – John Rietveld Collection (New Zealand) – running condition "rnbock", October 2007 - http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2817141790042020642JtifUT Daimler Dingo (F48582) – Virginia Museum of Military Vehicles, Nokesville, VA (USA) "rnbock", December 2007 - http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2501248540042020642fBPlLQ Daimler Dingo – American Armoured Foundation, Tank Museum, Danville, VA (USA) Vladimir Yakubov - http://svsm.org/gallery/Fighter_Factory/P1210236 Daimler Dingo – Fighter Factory, Virginia Beach, VA (USA) http://militaryvehicleweb.com/vehicle/1942-daimler-dingo/ Daimler Dingo (F64328) – Private collection, MI (USA) "tlucal", December 2008 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/tlucal/3085168121/in/set-72157610710331977/ Daimler Dingo – Victory Museum, Auburn, IN (USA) Lance Varga, May 2006 Daimler Dingo (F340576) – Private Collection, St. Louis, MO (USA) Lance Varga Daimler Dingo (F206044) – Private Collection, St. Louis, MO (USA) Picture from the owner - http://www.6thaarr.com/club-vehicles.html Daimler Dingo – Private Collection, Georgetown, TX (USA) Chris Hughes, June 2007 - http://www.toadmanstankpictures.com/dingo.htm Daimler Dingo (F52763) – Currently stored in California (USA) This vehicle was part of Jacques Littlefield Collection in California.
