Louis Emslie Louis was born in Aberdeen Scotland and immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1967. He learned to Scottish Country Dance in Guelph Ont. with Jack Crosbie as his first teacher. In 1971, he took his prelim in Hamilton with June Shore as tutor and Miss Milligan was his examiner. Louis teaches a K-W branch class, as well as classes in Guelph and Fergus each week. He has also taught at a Hamilton Branch workshop. Louis is retired from the Grand River Conservation Authority where he was the Assistant Superintendent at Guelph Lake Conservation Area. Moira Korus Moira was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and learned to dance at school and in the girl guides. She danced with Bill Hamilton’s group in Edinburgh as a teenager and moved to Canada in 1987. Moira completed her teaching certificate in 2005, and she currently teaches children and teenagers at the Rosedale group and adults at the Glenview group. She has taught workshops in Toronto, Kingston, Alliston, Mississauga, Hamilton, Oakville and Ottawa. When not dancing, she works at SickKids Hospital as a transplant coordinator.
