Inside each column is a modified LA31 actuator. The LA31 actuator is available in two versions, specially developed for desk applications: CBD4/CBD5 system: LA31 with 12V motor in combination with control box type CBD4/CBD5, using hall sensor and mini-fit motor cables. The CBD4 system can run up to 4 DL2’s in parallel. Optional the CBD5 control box can be built-into the DL2 column. CBD2 system: LA31 with a fast motor, double threaded worm gear, DESKLINE® motor cable (fixed) and the option of hall sensors for memory drive. The actuator can be used together with the CBD2 control box for single column actuator applications. The CBD2 system is only for single drive. Optional the CBD2 control box can be builtinto the DL2 column. Compared to the LINAK lifting columns LP2, LP3 and lifting unit DL1, the DL2 combines features such as high speed and optimum design freedom due to only one column, at a competitive price, thus making the column an optimum choice. Appropriate version of LA31 is set in the CBD4 using LINAK configuration software version 1.30 or later. • Anti-collision is not possible • Multi-parallel is not possible • SLS (CBDSLS001) is possible with DL2 produced from April 2008. Do not use configuration software version 1.31 – use version 1.35 or later The CBD5 only works with 1 or 2 LA31. Dimensions LA31 in combination with CBD4/CBD5 need to be initialized at starting up. When the system is initialized the actuator will stop before the end switches. The stroke length is therefore reduced and the installation dimension increased. The values are the same for the different spindle types.
