Please make sure you have filled out or have a Liability Waiver on File
for yourself and your guests pertaining to trips, sports, etc. The
waivers should be filled out and in the office before taking the trip or
playing the sport.
The EBAC General Membership Meetings for 2015 Will Be Held 2/5,
3/5, 4/2, 5/7, 6/4, 7/2, 8/6, 9/3, 10/1, 11/5, 12/03 at the VFW in Waterford
at 7:00 PM.
EBAC 2014 Nominations for Athlete of the Year
Nominations for the 2014 Athlete of the Year will open on February 5 th, 2015 and close
on March 5th, 2015 at the EBAC General Membership meeting. The Award winners will
be announced at the April 2nd 2015 EBAC General Membership meeting. The
Nomination Form is available on our Web site and can be submitted to the Office or
Lynn Gaul via Hard copy or Lotus notes. If you have any questions contact Lynn Gaul
867-3197 or Lotus notes. The Athlete of the Year dinner will be held April 27, 2015 at
Langley’s Great Neck Country Club.

2015 E-mail Clean-up
If you would like to be removed from the email list let me know so I am not bothering
you all year long. I will certainly not hold it against anybody (at least for too long!) I
understand that hobbies and interests change as time goes on.
2015 James Greenleaf 5K – Early May
Since 2013, the James Greenleaf Memorial 5K has served as the season opener and
varsity qualifier for the EBAC Running Club. The official date has yet to be released but
we expect it to be in early May once again. On-line registration is not currently open but
will be $20, and if you wait until race day it’s going to be $25. The first 10 EB men and
women to cross the finish line will be offered a varsity spot, which includes free race
entry to the full season of EB corporate races, which was over a $150 value last year.

Group Runs
Tuesday - 6:00 PM, East Lyme High School Track SHARP! Run, Track and Swim

Wednesday - Group runs of 4-6-miles from each of the soundRUNNER stores at 6:30
on Wednesday evenings. Contact [email protected]
Thursday – Sneekers Weekly evening group runs from Sneeker's Cafe in Groton
beginning at 6pm. Distance/speed up to those who attend. Group usually goes out on
parts of the old Sneeker's Run course. Contact: Al Phillips (860-449-1314).
Saturday – Slug Run Series 9:00 AM from various locations from
January through April. Short and long courses each week. Contact:

EBAC Floor Hockey League
The EBAC floor hockey league features a recreational “B” and "C" league for
inexperienced-to-intermediate players and a more competitive “A” league for the
intermediate-to-experienced players.
All games are played at Avery Point gym in Groton on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
nights.
The 2015 Season begins on Monday, February 16th. To get on a team contact Jon
Carr at 3-1098 or Mike Long at 3-8826 for more information. Openings are available at
all levels and there is also a need for goalies.
EBAC 3-D Archery Club
The EBAC Archery Club season begins in late March. If you have any questions

EBAC Excursion Club – 1st ever bus trip to Philadelphia!
We are going to "The City of Brotherly Love" on Saturday, March 7. The bus leaves
from the Rainville lot (L- lot) in Groton at 6am and leaves Phily at 5pm. Tickets are $31
each for bus and driver's tip and are on sale now with NO limit! See flyer for more info.

If you have not picked up your previously ordered ticket members in Groton they are at
the EBAC office, members in NL contact Bryce Knight. IMPORTANT - There are a
limited number of Discount Bulk Lift Tickets in the EBAC office on a first come, first
serve basis.

EBAC Fishing Derby
Prizes will be sent to the EBAC Office for collection. Please pick-up your prizes ASAP,
as the checks are void after 60 days. Anyone needing assistance can contact the
commissioner. While at the EBAC Office, registrations to the 2015 are available at the
office or by commissioner. Our 2015 website has been converted from the 2014
version. It is a new year, with all divisions open to register your biggest fish. Ice Fishing
is a legal form of angling, so the derby is officially open in January. Registrations in
January can be arranged by contacting the Commissioner. For more information you

EBAC Excursion Club – Remaining tickets are $5 each for
UConn Men & Women Basketball games
We still have tickets for 2 UConn basketball games! We have a few tickets for 2/14
women's game and a single ticket for the 2/28 women's game. No limit on tickets!
EBAC Excursion Club – 1/2 price Black Wolves "PARTY PIT"
tickets available!
The EBAC is heading to the "PIT"! We have discounted "Party Pit" tickets for the
Saturday, March 28 NE Black Wolves game. Game time is 7pm. Our tickets are only
$20 each (reg. $40) for the general admission area right next to the field! There are no
chairs, so the glass is the only thing between you and the action! You must be 21+ to
be in the Party Pit! Tickets are on sale now! See flyer for more info.
EBAC Excursion Club - Discounted Tickets at Mohegan Sun
Arena Check back often to see the updated list of shows being offered. Tickets will
be left at the Mohegan Sun 'will call' window on the night of the event. Remember, if
your discounted seats are in the upper level, you will not be able to be relocated to the
lower level. We have discounted tickets to these events at Mohegan Sun:
- 80's Extravaganza on Friday, February 6 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $52 $22 each for
upper level seats.
- Aaron Lewis on Friday, February 20 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $34 each for lower level
seats.
- AAC Tournament (women's basketball) from 3/6/15-3/9/15. Ticket packages are
$105 each (for all 10 games) for upper level seats.
- Miranda Lambert on Saturday, April 11 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $63 each for upper
level seats.
- Seth Meyers on Saturday, May 2 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $53 each for lower level
seats.
- Shawn Mendes on Sunday, June 7 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $26 each for lower level
seats.
- Train on Sunday, June 21 at 7:00pm. Tickets are $59 each for upper level seats.
- Idina Menzel on Saturday, July 11 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $49 each for lower level
