“The educational content of this program has been endorsed by the PSRC.”
PURPOSE & TARGET AUDIENCE
This conference has been designed to provide healthcare professionals (respiratory care professionals, physicians, physician
assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, sleep technicians, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants) working in
acute, long term, home health, rehabilitation and other healthcare settings with up-to-date and evidence based clinical data in
Primary and Pulmonary Care. Emphasis will be placed on the practical application of content presented. The didactic and/or
hands-on simulation lectures will allow ample time for participant feedback and interaction.
Topics for this year’s conference have been selected based on identified professional practice gaps that resulted from extensive
target audience needs assessment data. The needs assessment data were derived from a variety of sources including evaluations
and outcomes data from past participants and clinical expert input. Topics include the latest respiratory care techniques, procedures
and considerations, patient safety, ethics and adult and pediatric issues for today’s medical professionals. The program addresses
