Come hear Bible Stories HILLSIDE AT PRAYER Your Mother Never Told You! Join us at Hillside Presbyterian Church for a sermon series on the never-told stories of the Bible. We tend to avoid those things that make us uncomfortable, but we often do so to our own detriment. Scripture deals unflinchingly with the sordid underbelly of human life precisely because that is where the gospel is needed most. What will we unearth when we dig into those lesser learned lessons? 1/18 – Judges 4:7-24 “A Hero Without Glory” 1/25 – Judges 19:14-20:13, 46-48 “Israel Rises” 2/1 – 2 Kings 2:9-15 “Elisha & the Two Bears” 2/8 – Song of S 7:1-9 “The Beautiful Woman” 2/15 – Hosea 1:2-9, 3:1-3 “Of Unrequited Love” *Parental Discretion is advised: Parents are encouraged to read the stories ahead of time to determine what is suitable for their children.
