WHERE TO PICK UP YOUR TICKETS: A limited number of tickets will be available this year at 4 high school sites where you may pick up playoff
tickets for only the following games: Girls games on Saturday, 2/21 and Wednesday 2/25 ONLY It is recommended that you contact the site to
verify ticket stock availability as some sites may run out of tickets. See school site pick up times on chart below: All rounds of tickets will be
available at the CIF Southern Section office during regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. All Tickets for any
games on February 28 & March 3 must be picked up at the CIFSS Office.

FINANCIAL REPORTING PROCEDURE! All financial reporting for both visitor and host schools will be submitted via: www.cifsshome.org and click on
Playoff Finances on the left of the screen.

TICKET VALUE – All CIF-SS ticket issued to schools for usage during the playoffs carries a $ value. Therefore, ALL unused tickets MUST be returned to
CIF-SS as soon as possible following each game along with a Ticket Return Slip (attached below). If tickets are not returned OR a discrepancy is found
between what was reported and what was returned, schools MAY be billed for missing tickets. All unused Girls Basketball tickets must be returned
absolutely no later than Friday, March 20, 2015.

- The first 15 tickets off a General ticket packet are your complimentary tickets & have been automatically accounted for on the financial report.
- A different color of CIF-SS ticket is designated for each round. Any CIF-SS tickets from a previous round may not be used again!
- There are 2 types of tickets: General ($10) & Student/Child ($5) in packages of 100
(Student/Child – High School Students must show current HS I.D at the gate – Child refers to ages 13 & under)

PLAYOFF BASKETBALL TICKET PROCEDURE FOR 2015
1. It is strongly encouraged that ALL schools pick up tickets at the CIF-SS office or one of the four (4) remote sites.
2. In the case of last resort circumstances, schools will be allowed to use their own tickets.
A phone call notifying us of the intention to use your own tickets must be made to the CIF- SS office.
Next Day Mail Deliveries
Any request for next day mail deliveries will be at the expense of the school. A FedEx or UPS account number will be
required for such shipments (no credit cards accepted). Below is the information form which must be completed by the
school before sending out next day tickets. Please be aware that next day service is NOT always possible due to distance
from our location.

Playoff Game Guidelines and Requirements
□ SCHEDULES & SCORES - Complete your schedule in CIFSSHome prior to your season as well as update scores following each
contest. Attention Athletic Directors/Coaches: It is very important that you enter your entire season schedule into CIFSSHome
(www.cifsshome.org) as well as update the scores immediately following your contests. Log in @ www.cifsshome.org (If you do
not have a log in & password as a coach, check with your Athletic Director). Once you are logged in:
● On the left panel, click on “Teams”, select “YOUR SPORT”
● To Add a game, click “Add Game” at the top right and fill out all of the required fields which are marked by a red (*) to complete
your schedule.
● To Submit your score, click on the “Teams”, select “YOUR SPORT” and scroll through your schedule and click on the green
“Post Result” button.
● It is your responsibility to ensure your overall and team records are correct on your CIFSSHOME team page.
□ Tickets (pertains only to the revenue sports of Volleyball, Football & Basketball ) – It is mandatory to sell tickets for admission to all playoff
and championship games. Use of CIFSS provided tickets is desired ‘if at all possible’ logistically for cost, audit and sponsorship
reasons. A Ticket Board(s) is included. Refer to the ‘Ticket Handlers and Financial Clerks’ memo included with your tickets for
additional ticket information.
□ Meal Allowance (given ONLY when traveling 140 miles round trip or more) – No allowance will be permitted for meals or lodging
without PRIOR approval (before traveling). Contact Sharon Hodge at the CIF-SS Office for all meal and/or lodging approvals.
□ TV/Web/Radio Rights For all playoff games in all sports, the CIFSS owns and contracts the TV, radio and web (video or audio) rights
for each round in all sports. A rights fee and contract is required for each round. To contract a game, please contact Anita Fopma
at the CIFSS office, at (562) 493-9500 or [email protected].
□ Official Ball – Only the official ball(s) in each sport may be played by either school during each CIFSS playoff
contest. Violation of this rule will result in of hosting next playoff home game. The Official Ball list for each sport is included and
available on the CIF-SS web site. This policy has been in effect since 2002.
□ FORD Championship Banner – It is a requirement that the CIFSS Ford Championship banner be displayed at every playoff home
football and gymnasium game (or on the electronic signage where schools do not display banners).
□ Gatorade Only - During all playoff contests, Gatorade jugs/cups/bottles are the only permitted products on the field or court. Absolutely
‘no’ competitor products or items (such as PowerAde jugs/bottles/cups) may be present, including individual cans or bottles brought
by athletes. If you do not use Gatorade products, the alternative is a generic non-sponsored cup, squeeze bottle or jug (such as
Igloo). This policy has been in effect since 1995.
□ Public Address Announcements & Sportsmanship Announcement– As host of a CIFSS playoff event, CIFSS announcements take
precedence over home school messaging and must be read each playoff game. Please read all the provided playoff corporate
announcements (part of this packet) at every playoff game and the following “Sportsmanship Announcement” prior to each game:
1. CIF-SS playoff contests are conducted under the strictest code of good sportsmanship.
2. The officials are neutral individuals, representing the Commissioner and have been selected because of demonstrated ability.
3. Rooters are encouraged to support their own team and are requested to display proper sportsmanship with respect to the
visiting school and the officials. The CIF-SS appreciates your attendance and support of high school basketball.
□ Media Credentials – Accredited working media should be given admission to all playoff games by showing their CIFSS Press or Photo
Credential. There are different media admission requirements for Championship events.
□ *Playoff Souvenirs – The use of ‘CIFSS’ or ‘Southern Section’ on any souvenir items (patch, shirt, banner, etc.) is only permitted when
purchased through a licensed CIFSS vendor. Schools violating the CIFSS copyrights and vendor agreements will be required to
purchase any unsold shirts at the Championship finals and/or face sanction. Please note that the use of ‘CIF’ without SS/Southern
Section or the use of ‘State’ is strictly prohibited and violates CIF State copyright. A list of currently licensed vendors is provided
each season of sport and does change periodically.
Please read next page for additional information on the ONLY vendors who you can sell Awards, Patches, Apparel, etc.

If the words “CIF-SS” or “CIF” Appears on any
CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS, PATCHES, APPAREL, etc., you must follow these rules.
If your team won or were a runner-up in a CIFSS Team Event and you wish to purchase any additional champion plaques
or runner-up plaques and runner-up medals you may do so by ordering directly from All American Trophy by contacting
Paul Purdum at (323) 725-1962.
Additional Champion t-shirts (given to championship teams only) may be ordered directly from our supplier. Contact Kristy
