Welcome to Melbourne’s
Moomba Festival for 2015!
The Moomba Festival is a Melbourne
institution. It is Australia’s largest
community festival which attracts
more than one million people each
year. With the famous Moomba Parade,
thrilling Birdman Rally, vibrant carnival
atmosphere and countless free shows and
activities, Moomba truly is the people’s
festival. I hope you enjoy everything this
much-loved event has to offer.

Temperatures can rise on the Moomba
site, so make sure you remember to be
sun smart. We have sunscreen and water
available for your convenience. Check the
map for locations.
ACCESSIBILITY
FREE FUN
The Moomba Festival site and facilities
are accessible via wheelchair. All mobility
equipment hire services are managed by
Travellers Aid – call 03 9610 2030 to make
a booking at least 24 hours in advance.
We are excited to offer you a jam-packed
schedule of free events and activities across
the weekend. The only things you will need
money for are carnival rides and food, and
of course your transport to and from the
festival – the rest is on us!

King and Queen. With an exhilarating,
action-packed program, Moomba Festival
2015 is geared to embrace everything we
love about our city – its passion for music

all by the iconic Yarra River in the heart
of Melbourne. Together let’s see Moomba
