Simplicity
Duceram Kiss
Duceragold Kiss
Cercon ceram Kiss
Nothing is easier than making things complicated
– nothing is harder than making things easier.
The real challenge lies in simplifying and not
complicating things.
In classical high-fusing veneering ceramics, the
opalescent effect can get lost after multiple firing
cycles. But not with Duceram Kiss, nor with the
other Kiss ceramic lines. The opal material, an
aspect responsible for the natural appearance of
the restoration, has been significantly optimized
using a patented production process. With
Duceram Kiss, this opalescent effect will not fade,
but will actually even increase with every firing
cycle.
Duceragold Kiss is a low-fusing veneering
ceramic that offers wonderful opalescence and
fluorescence, while creating a delicately balanced
play of the colors and reflections of natural teeth.
Designed to add the finishing touch to Y-TZP
zirconia frameworks, Cercon ceram Kiss porcelain
brings the Kiss concept to zirconia. This highperformance ceramic is available in a range of
shades that allow dental technicians to create a
masterpiece. If you can imagine it, Cercon ceram
Kiss can create it.
Our simplified Kiss concept reduces the required
number of porcelain powders by half. With only
73 porcelain powders, Kiss sets the standard in
functional ceramics.
Artistry
The Kiss system consists of the high-fusing PFM
veneering ceramic Duceram® Kiss and the lowfusing Duceragold® Kiss, as well as Cercon® ceram
Kiss porcelain for zirconia. Each one of these
Kiss porcelains is renowned for its exceptionally
beautiful esthetics and shade reproduction
providing advanced artistry to dental laboratories.
With the Basic Layering technique, all sixteen A-D
shades can be reproduced using only 40 powders,
without having to mix them. Through the addition
of six incisal powders, the dental technician
can achieve an even better reproduction in the
incisal areas. The simplicity of the Basic Layering
technique makes it easier for less experienced
technicians to reproduce shades correctly and
repeatably.
®
The complete Duceram Kiss range of 73 materials,
including the shade indicators, liquids, brushes
and the portioner tool, has been assembled in
attractive cases to provide the best possible
starting point into the Duceram Kiss world. And, it
is available in both paste and powder opaques.
The benefits of Duceram Kiss high-fusing
porcelains are clear:
But what is so special about Duceragold Kiss?
Hydrothermalism. Conventional porcelains contain
surface micro-flaws or develop them after exposure
in the oral environment. These flaws can increase
over time, resulting in surface discolorization and
flexural strength reduction.
Very simply put, Duceragold Kiss has the effect of
“healing” surface flaws, contributing to an increase
in strength. And, hydrothermal ceramics have a
homogeneous and dense structure making it easy
to grind and polish, even in the patient’s mouth.
Duceragold Kiss low-fusing porcelains offer:
• An esthetic porcelain that works problem-free
with high-fusing alloys, with CTE values between
13.8 and 15.4 m/m.K, thanks to its linear thermal
expansion curve
• Hydrothermalism
• Stable shades even in combination with highsilver alloys
• Smooth, homogenous surfaces; easy-to-polish
•An optimized number of pigments that increase
color reliability
• Reduced plaque adherence
• High stability in layering; easy to model and easy
to sculpt
• Low firing shrinkage
• Smooth, homogeneous surface
For more advanced artistry, there is the Individual
Layering technique. By adding six fluorescent
Power Chromas, the dental technician can
reproduce cervical and mamelon effects, as well as
raise the chroma. 15 new shades can be created by
simply mixing the Power Chroma in a 1:1 ratio.

• Extremely vivid light emission
• Translucency, opalescence and fluorescence

Especially compatible with Cercon Zirconia
frameworks, Cercon ceram Kiss can be used for
completing both white and shaded Cercon base
frameworks. A great fit with great esthetics.
Cercon ceram Kiss porcelain for zirconia provides:
• Compatible with a large range of common
zirconium oxide frameworks
• Brilliant shades
• Smooth, homogenous surfaces
• Sets new standards in the all-ceramic field in
chewing simulation tests (Regensburg test)
• Designed with a dentin CTE of 9.2 m/m.K, thus
ideally compatible with zirconia framework
materials (10.5 m/m.K)
• Abrasion behavior like natural enamel
• Surpasses ISO standards
• A wide CTE range for compatibility with several
alloys; 16.2 - 17.0 at 500˚C
Cercon ceram Press
®
For labs that choose to press their porcelains,
Cercon ceram Press offers base ingots for the Press
& Stain technique.
• Exceeds current ISO standards
Press & Stain Technique
Select from four base ingots, press and finish with
Cercon ceram Kiss stains. The four (4) Press & Stain
Ingots are coded as follows:
W = White (for use as a bleach shade)
U = Universal (for use with C or D shades)
R = Reddish (for use with A shades)
Y = Yellow (for use with B Shades)
