An interesting start to 2015 for the auction team as Strakers
first sale of the year was held at The Assembly Rooms in Bath
with a packed room of expectant buyers. The catalogue was
full of potential with some cracking lots to include a Grade II
listed farmhouse for complete renovation with a range of barns
and about 30 acres, the property was sold in 3 lots and made a
fantastic £870,000 on a combined guide of £655,000+.
The build up to the auction saw a higher level of viewings
compared to December which is a good sign and we fully
expect this trend to continue with the low mortgage rates on
offer at present.
