Dear Delegates / Fellow Professionals,
It is my privilege to welcome fellow pharmacy teachers of AICTE
approved Pharmacy Colleges on the event of XVIII AICTE sponsored
QIP at DIPSAR from 20th of February, 2015. DIPSAR a premier
Pharmaceutical Education and Research Institution. The Institute is
known for its high academic standards in teaching and research in
various facets of Pharmaceutical Education. The alumni of the Institute
are working as top class pharmaceutical professionals and significantly
contributing towards the development of Indian pharmaceutical
industry and health care system of the country in turn.
The students have the opportunity to work in specialized laboratories
of each department which boast of highly sophisticated instruments for
post graduates and Ph.Ds along with the basic required facilities for
practical training of undergraduate students. The institute has well
established research laboratories in the areas of Genome Research,
Anti-fertility and infertility, Ocular Pharmacology Laboratory, Indian
system of Medicine, Phyto-chemistry, Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry,
and Drug Design and Development Laboratory, Cardiovascular
Research lab, etc. Our students are well placed in various
pharmaceutical industries across the country and most of the students
are placed through our placement cell even before completing their
graduations.

Recent Trends in Pharmacology and Therapeutics
The aim of the programme is to provide an insight to the fellow
pharmacy teachers working across the length and breadth of the
country about the recent developments in various facets of the
healthcare profession with unbiased information on drugs and
medicines used in their developments, discoveries, formulation, and
evaluation techniques and to give and develop an insight as the body of
knowledge on how existing drug grows, new drug emerge, new
preparations are launched and old preparations are abandoned,
reformulated or redefined and to reflect the changing research needs.
The programme will also focus on the new emerging techniques and
methods being developed and applied in various spheres of drug
research.
